July 22nd 2010:

“Enhancing the Nigerian Film Industry through Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Education, Training and Enlightenment”

The Nigerian Film Industry – popularly known as Nollywood - has become a world phenomenon, as its movies are being sold in many countries all over the world. So far, the success of the Nigerian Film Industry without adequate ICT tools has stunned international observers and interest groups.
An improvement of the ICT infrastructure and training, as well as the incorporation of digital technology into the creation, production and distribution processes, as well as the establishment of Intellectual Property Rights Regulation in the Industry will go a long way to alleviate some of its current problems.

This Conference will serve as a catalyst for the creation of an intellectual and technology knowledge base for the Nigerian Film Industry.
It will take the lead in bringing together stakeholders with the objective of providing ICT based support to several areas of the industry.

Venue: The Digital Bridge Institute, Oshodi, Lagos. | For more information & registration, visit Conference website
